Learning about local history is one of our favorite family pastimes. So, today we hiked the Manchester Slave Trail located downtown off of Maury St. Africans were brought by boat to the Manchester Slave Docks. This port made Richmond the largest source in America of imported Africans from 1830-1860, subhannallah.
