Welcome to River City Homeschoolers. We are an Islamic homeschooling family in Richmond, VA with five lovely girls(9, 7,5, 3, and 1) and one energetic boy(10). Our children have always been homeschooled.
My husband and I were born and raised in Virginia. We both accepted Islam on the same day about 8 years ago, masha Allah.

Just wanted to ask you a question. Since you are both converts how do you learn Quran? In my mosque they won’t teach adults only kids.

It is very challenging! At this point, we do the best we can on our own after some tutoring from various sources. We also do what we can at home through sofware programs and online help. Please make du’a for us, insha Allah.
