I am starting to feel nostalgic for time together with my children. I find myself feeling the need to savor each moment as I am not sure how much longer this time will last.

Isa and Jennah have grown very close since the others started school.

We have recently been spending our breaks outside playing with the neighbors cat and riding scooters and bikes.

Our schedule doesn’t permit much in the way of field trips, but we did manage a visit to the art museum to check out Greek artifacts. I am attempting to follow the standards of learning somewhat as Jennah will probably be joining her sisters soon.

And to the library a few times.

For the most part the days go by so quickly and the girls are home by 2:30pm.

Well, off to plan for Girl Scouts tonight. They are always so excited to meet the other sisters.

    Assalamo alaikum,

    Lovely pictures mashaAllah.

How long is the school day? 2:30 is really early to be home mashaAllah. The schools here at secondary level start at 8:45 until 3.30-4pm.

    • Wa alaikum as salaam ummsalam,

That is elementary level 7:40 to 2:10. They ride the bus and get home at 2:30. Hannah and Jamilah in middle school start a bit later 8:30 to 3:15 and get home at 3:30. The high schoolers don’t get home until 4:15.

  2. Assalamualaykum,
The first picture is especially lovely, maashAllah.
